Back in June, 2009 I went to Detroit to take some final pictures of the remaining structure that used to be Tiger Stadium.  This was a pretty sad occasion as Tiger Stadium was really one of the best places to see a baseball game, and it was the first place I ever saw a regular season professional baseball game. 

The photos I am presenting show a point of time when the actual demo was stopped after someone realized there were still a lot of stadium seats that were being ripped out with the demolition.  So they started removing the seats, potentially for the collectible stadium seat sale aftermarket.

I recently caught some shots of Tiger Stadium on the news, and it is not much more than a pile of rubble now.  

I really feel like I should apologize for the picture of me in this collection.  I was forced to grow the mustache for a canoe trip.
