So, I was walking around Meijers in White Lake, MI the other day and while in line at the customer service counter I noticed a new card scanner.  Nothing big, except that the usual card scanner to purchase goods was right next to this new scanner.  The new scanner (if you couldn't tell from the title of this post) has biometric scanning capabilities, finger print module on the side with what appears to be a video camera.  According to the Biometric Access Company website, their scanners are for a multitude of uses like check cashing, pharmacy, time and attendance.

I think it is kind of creepy to think that there are places that might use a fingerprint to clock you in and out.
