I have been collecting images of mostly manhole covers as I walk around.  I find it kind of interesting that there is such a variety of covers across the country.  In some places you will find regional iron foundries, in other places you might find the same type of cover made in 3 different countries.  I don't limit the photograph collection to just manhole covers, but to street metal in general.  By that I mean metal that is generally found in the ground, on the street, on a sidewalk... Even sewer grates are fair game in this hunt.  Enjoy the pictures.
